Science Textbook

A science textbook can create a tremendous amount of controversy due to the differences in beliefs about the theory of evolution. This has been hashed out for years but the problem will never be solved to everyone’s satisfaction. Many parents believe that a science textbook can lead their child away from what their religion believes. Due to laws that keep religion out of public schools only the theory of evolution is taught.Many Christian and other religious groups feel slighted by the fact that the creation theory is not brought up in a science textbook.

Christian Science textbooks are available but not used in public schools. These science textbooks give a different perspective of the beginning of mankind than Darwin’s theory of evolution. Creationism is stressed in a Christian Science textbook. Many children who are home schooled or attend private religious schools use this textbook in place of a regular science textbook.

When you go to purchase a science textbook and the price is higher than it seems it should be this is one of the factors that drives up the price of science textbooks along with all the other textbooks.Many times the courts must look at textbooks to make sure they adhere to state and federal laws. Many parents also carefully scrutinize new science textbook editions before they are approved for use in public schools.
